How it works
Every salary is run through the current statutory rules: NSSF at 6% up to KES 108,000, SHIF at 2.75% with a KES 300 minimum, the Housing Levy at 1.5%, then PAYE with KES 2,400 relief. NSSF, SHIF and the employee Housing Levy are deducted before PAYE. The employer adds a matching NSSF, a matching Housing Levy and KES 50 NITA per employee.

When must I pay?
PAYE, NSSF and SHIF by the 9th of the next month. The Housing Levy is due by the ninth working day.

Does this include allowances or loans?
